Parungsari is a Dapur of a keris with 13 Luk. The blade length is normal. It has Kembang Kacang, there are blades with Jenggot but even without, two Lambe Gajah exist, Sraweyan, double Sogokan, Pejetan and Greneng. Many people confuse these with Dapur Sengkelat because they are very similar. The only difference is that the Dapur Parungsari has two Lambe Gajah and Sengkelat has only one Lambe Gajah. The Pusaka Keris of Keraton Yogykarta Kanjeng Kyai Tumenggung has Dapur Parungsari. |
Pasopati is a Dapur of a straight and very popular keris. The blade length is normal and quite thick, since an Ada-Ada is available. It has Kembang Kacang Pogok, only one Lambe Gajah, two Sogokan and Ri Pandan. This Dapur is also available with Gusen and Lis-Lisan. The Wayang Arjuna also has a weapon named Pasopati, therefore this name is very well known. There are some Pusaka Keris of the Keraton Yogyakarta with this Dapur so e.g. Kanjeng Kyai Lindri and Kanjeng Kyai Naga. |
Pateha, Badik is one of two types of Badik in Sulawesi, especially in South Sulawesi, Tenggara and Central Sulawesi. One kind is which is designed very elaborately shod with pamor and a wooden sheath and with a gold or silver Badík Saroso. This is a Badík Pusaka weapon. The second type is a Badík Pateha and is usually pamor Adeg. The scabbard is made of wood or animal hides. This Badík is often used as a cutting knife. |

Pedang is a sharp weapon that looks like a long knife. It is known throughout the world and we could describe it as a sword. In Indonesia, each tribe has a Pedang with its own shape. There are two classifications of Pedang, Pedang Suduk and Pedang Sabet. Pedang Suduk has a pointed tip and the edge is sharp. The Pedang Sabet is wider than Pedang Suduk and not as sharp. Formerly the Pedang Suduk was used by officers and the Pedang Sabet was used by ordinary soldiers. |
