Untu Walang (2)

is a form of a Ricikan of a mendak. Also a model of a mendak is called so in Surakarta. It has "sharp teeth" on one side. Untu Walang means teeth lying behind.

Unyeng

is at a nUkuran or handle of a keris, the center of the wood grain. It is also called Mata Kayu (eye of the wood). In Solo and Yogyakarta it is believed that this Unyeng for a handle made of wood Tayuman has magical power. There are different names depending on the number or location :

1. an Unyeng in the middle of the back is anUkiran Satriya Wibawa,

2. two Unyeng in the middle of the back with the position up and down is an Ukiran Satriya Kinayungan,

3. two Unyeng in the middle of the back with the position next to each other is an Ukiran Satriya Kembar or Satria Sakembaran,

4. an Unyeng near the Batuk is called Sotya,

5. an Unyeng in the middle of the Cetik Ukiran is called Asmarandana,

6. an Unyeng in the middle of the Waduk is called Unyeng Satriya Sinaroja.

Urab-Urab (1)

is a pamor motif and is very similar to the image of the Pamor Jarot Asem. The difference is that when it is Urab-Urab the bar is thicker. This pamor is a combination of the pamors Miring and Mlumah. Jarot Asem belongs to Miring which is much easier to make than a combination of different pamor motives. Read more here.

Urab-Urab (2)

is the Dapur a kris with 5 Luk. The blade is quite thick, but the size normal. It usually has a thick Ada-Ada, a Kembang Kacang Pogok, a Lambe Gajah, two normal Sogokan, Tikel Alis and Gusen. It is among the rare Dapurs and is difficult to find.

Urub Jingga, Kanjeng Kyai

is a Pusaka keris owned by the Kraton Yogyakarta. It has the Dapur Sengkelat 13 Luk. The warangka is made of Timaha Bosokan wood and the pendok is made of gold with precious stones.

Urubing Dilah

or Urubing Damar or also Damar Murub is the Dapur of a keris with 1 Luk (this Dapur has a curved blade and is not a keris Lurus). The Gandik is simple, it has Pejetan, Tikel Alis and Greneng. The blade length is normal

Uwer

is another name for a mendak. This designation can be found in parts of Java and Bali.
