Ucu-Ucu

is only found in krisses with Luk. There are two types of Ucu-Ucu, Ngandap and Nginggil. The Ucu-Ucu is marked on the image below with the letter U. The part of the blade of the first Luk opposite and slightly higher is called Tengkel.

Ukiran

or Deder or Jejer is the name of a handle of a Keris. The Dutch call him greep, known in English as the hilt is often found in Indonesian also handle (from English). In Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and outside Indonesia the term Hulu Keris is used. Especially in Yogyakarta or Surakarta you find the names Dederan or Jejeran. is a known Empu of the Kingdom Mataram at the reign of Sultan Agung Anyokrokusumo.

Umban Tali

is a traditional weapon in the area Minangkabau, West Sumatra. It resembles a Bandul on Java.

is a known Empu in the kingdom Pajajaran. His krisses are still very popular and have a special Kembang Kacang or Gandik:
