Also handles have magical power, when they have not only the usual carvings a knothole. Depending on the position and in conjunction with the other carving they have a different magical power. In Java this is called Knothole Unyeng-Unyeng.

(1) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears at the top it is called Sunggi (Gbr. 6.17). It gives the owner intelligence and a sharp mind.

(2) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears at the Bathuk it is called Pupuk or Sotya (Gbr. 6.17). The owners get sharp mind and are adept at selecting the friends. Formerly it was used by the Sudagar (dealer) because the magical power give them wealth and to hone the skills for assessments of distributors.

(3) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears on the Dhadha it will be called Bopong (Gbr. 6.17). It will be appreciated by individuals to a respected position as an educator or counselor .

(4) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears at the Weteng it will be called Puser (Gbr. 6.18). It brings prosperity for all vital needs such as food and clothing.

(5) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears in front of the Bungkul it will be called Asmaradana (Gbr. 6.18). It allows the owners the easiest handling of opponents, both strength and security against the capricious love.

(6) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears at the Piligan (on the side of the head) left or right or both sides it is called Sumping (Gbr. 6:19). It has the force against the companions faithful and just and to be tolerant.

(7) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears at the Ketiak left, right or both sides it is called Kempit (Gbr. 6:19). You can create the force that the people in the area goes well.

(8) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears at the waist to the left, right or both sides it is called Satriya Sinarja (Gbr. 6:19). It has the magical power that the owner is easy to find a livelihood and inexpensive clothes and food.

(9) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears alongside the Bungkul left, right or both sides it is called Gembol (Gbr. 6:19) .It has to promote the property, is that it keeps secrets and efficient .

 

(10) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears in "neck" it will be called Pikul (Gbr. 6.20). It has the force to "bear" the difficult duties (memikul = pikul = carry).

(11) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears in the middle of Gigir (the back) it is called Gendhong or Hong Satriya Wibawa (Gbr.6.20). It has the magical power to increase the authority and to raise the level of the family property in the area.

(12) If the Unyeng-Unyeng appears behind the Bungkul it will be called Lenggah (Gbr. 6.20). It has the power of the career, to improve the state and the residence of the owner.

(13) If two Unyeng-Unyeng appear vertically in the middle of Gigir (the back) this is called Satriya Pnayungan (Gbr. 6:21). It increases the authority of the owner and he survives in wars. Therefore, this type of Unyeng-Unyeng sought by high-ranking personalities (formerly kings).

(14) If two Unyeng-Unyeng appear horizontally in the middle of the Gigir (the back) this is called Satriya Kembar (Gbr 6.22). It has the power to increase the value of property.
