Dapur = dapur is the name of the model or the type. Because of the shape and the number of luks (waves) each model get a special name, you can see it here . The photoes of the dapurs A - G you see here, G - K here, K– N here, N - S here and S - Z here.

Gandar Iras = the warangka is made from one piece. Mostly the warangka is made from gembol jati (teak wood) and the Pendok is open on the front side to see better the nice warangka Gandar Iras.

Ganja = „the bottom“ of the blade, the opposite side ot the tip. This part mostly is decorated. The parts and kinds of the ganja you find here.

Gayaman = the warangka gayaman is made in Jogjakarta

Handle = it is the same like a hilt of a keris.

Hulu = Indonesian word for the hilt of the keris. You can find here some different models.

Keris = a keris is a traditional asymetric weapon with two sharp side, especially in Indonesia, but also in the neighbour states of Malaysia, Brunei, Kambodja, Thailand and the Philippines. Kerisses in Java are also called Curiga, Duwung or Wangkingan, in Balinese island Kadutan er Kedutan. In other areas also Tappi, Selle, Gayang, Kres, Kris or Karieh. Keris are known in the Western world since the 17th century. In 1637 the first Englishman takes a keris to his motherland. Since 1647 you find kerisses in the Danish Museum.

Ladrang = warangka ladrang it is also called warangka Surakarta

Luk = the warves of a keris. You find the keris lurus = straight keris and bending / wavey kerisses. The number of the luks is everytime is not even from 3 up to 29 if you folllow the Ensiklopedi Keris but I had found a keris with 31 luk. About the meaning of the luk please read it here.

Mendak = Ring between hilt and the blade wilah and it covers the peksi. Olds mendaks are made from copper material, newer ones are mostly golden or silver colored and decorated with some white, red or green  stones like zirkonia.

Pamor = by forging iron and nickel iron there will be different colors and motifs on the blade. The description of making a pamor and the list of the different pamors you find here. Pedang = Indonesian word for sword, the different kinds of Javanese swords you find here

Pendok = the sheath made from mixed materials and it coves the warangka, you can  here some different types.

Rencong = keris from Banda Aceh, Northern Sumatra.

Ricikan = part of the blade, please see the  photo.

Selut = includes a mendak and bigger ring. You need a special handle for it.

Tangguh = period the keris was made.

Tombak = Indonesian word for spear. You can find a cataloque of the spears here. The name of tombak mendak is Menthuk. Some examples you  can find here. Ukiran = hilt made from wood, also the name for the workmanship of the hilt.

Warangka = the wooden place for the keris, you can see here the different kinds of wood and warangkas and here the parts of a warangka.

Wedung = a special kind of a keris, it is a tradional Indonesian weapon.

Wilah = blade. Here you can reed something about the blade..
