Sogokan Belakang is the rear Sokan. There are to two opinions. Once one think it is only the groove at the Sor-Soran on the other hand it is also called the Sogokan Belakang, if there is only one Sogokan, so no duplicate Sogokan. |
Sogokan Cupet is a Sogokan which is seen very similar as a double Sogokan, but it is only about one third as long. It is therefore also referred as short Sogokan. |
Sogokan Depan is the front Sogokan. It lies on the Sor-Soran and it only exists in a double Sogokan. There is only one Dapur with only Sogokan Depan that is Dapur Kala Nadah. |
Sogokan Landung is a form of a double Sogokan, which is longer than normal. Landung means long. But there is also the Sogokan Dawa, which is long. |
Sogokan Nyucuk Dandang is a form of a double Sogokan, which is slightly longer than normal and is a little bent at the top. |
Sogokan Panjang is a form of double Sogokan which is very long and often goes to the blade tip. It is also called Sogokan Dawa. |

Sogokan Sineba is a special type of double Sogokan which is only found in the Dapur Sineba. |
Sogokan Ujung Gunung is a special type of double Sogokan, which is also called Gunung Ngujung. It is even shorter than Sogokan Cupet. |
Sokayana is the Dapur of a Padang, which is part of the Padang Suduk. This Pedang is between 90 and 110 cm long. The blade is rounded with the widest width about two-thirds away from the haft. The front part of the blade is sharp. The back is straight. |

Sor-Soran or Bongkot is a part of a blade of a keris located at the bottom near the Pesi, but on the Ganja. But there are some keris experts who also expect the Ganja to Sor-Soran. It belongs to the Ricikan of a keris and blades with special pamor have only one Sor-Soran. The word is derived from the Javanese word "ngisor" that means "down". Also Tombak and Pedang have a Sor-Soran. The Sor-Soran can be found below in the section with the darker background. |
Sonokeling is a timber, which is often used for the preparation of a warangka of a keris. It's pretty dark brown, almost black. It has a less good quality, but is often used because it is not expensive. |
Sono Kembang is a type of wood of a tree that is found in Southern Java. It is dark brown and is used for making a warangka for a keris or Tombak. |
