Sapit Abon

is the Dapur of a straight Tombak. The blade is symmetrical, relatively thin and wide. It has an Ada-Ada. The part of the blade about the waist is narrower than the lower part. In the lower part we find Sapit Abon or Gapit and this technique is to make the thin blade stable.

Sapu Abon

is the Dapur of a straight Tombak and it looks like Sapit Abon. The difference is that the waist is below and the upper part is wider than the lower. The Sapit is shorter, only about 1/3 of the blade length. This Tombak is also heavier than Sapit Abon. The forms of  both Dapurs are to make plain and simple. So this Tombak is often used in former times by soldiers.

Sardula Mangsah

is the Dapur of a straight keris. The blade has Ada-Ada, Ron, since instead of Kembang Kacang, two Lambe Gajah, Ri Pandan as new creation, two Sogokan, and a long Tikel Alis. This is a new Dapur and it is new since the era of Paku Buwono IX.

Sarewehan

Sarimanuk

is a handle of a keris Sundang or Keris Sulu from the Southern Philippines. The handle is made of wood, ivory, bone, metal or a combination of these materials. The length is approximately 12 cm, which is 1 1/2 times as long as a Java handle.

Saroso, Badik

is one of two types of a Badik in South Sulawesi and Central Sulawesi. This Badik is costly and with pamor and the sheath is often adorned from quality wood with silver or gold. A Badík Saroso is a Pusaka weapon. The second type of Badík is a Badík Pateha which is much simpler.

Sarung, Keris

is on Java, Madura, Bali, Lombok and some other areas the name for the warangka of a keris. Other people have accepted this name because it means "cover". The Sarung consists of three major parts, Sampir, Awak-Awakan and gandar.

Satriya Wibawa

is part of an Ukiran, a handle for a keris. The handle is made of the expensive wood Tayuman. According to some keris experts this has positive force on the acquis. Previously only servants of the Keraton has such a  andle.

Sebit Ron

or Nyebit Ron is a part of the Ganja. It lies between Gendokan and Buntut Cecak and is represented by arrows in the picture below.

Sebit Ron Tal

or Nyebit Rontal is a term for a form of a Ganja of a keris. It can be confounded with Sebit Ron, appearing at the side of the Ganja. Many krisses from the Tangguh Mataram have a Ganja Sebit Ron Tal.

Sedet

is the Dapur of a keris with 15 Luk, so it is a keris Kalawijan. Although there are many Luk, the blade length is normal. This keris has an Ada-Ada, Kembang Kacang, Tikel Alis, only a Lambe Gajah and Jalen. The Sogokan is twice but has normal size. There are also Gusen and Greneng.

Segara Muncar

is the Dapur of a keris with 9 Luk The blade length is normal. This keris has Kembang Kacang, two Lambe Gajah, Jalen, Jalu Memet and double Sogokan which is very long. It goes beyond the half of the blade length. It has no Greneng or Tingil but only a Sraweyan. Although this is a known Dapur, but it is not popular and therefore rare. It is often found in the Tangguh Mataram.

Segara Winotan

is a Dapur of a keris with 3 Luk, which is also called Jangkung Mangkunegoro. The blade length is normal but there are many Ricikan. There are Kembang Kacang, Jenggot, double Sogokan, the second Sogokan goes to the blade tip. In addition, there are Li-Lisan, Gusen, and Kruwingan Greneng. In Brunei this Dapur is also called Aliamai Luk Tiga.

Segara Winotan, Pamor

isa a Pamor.

Segara Winotan, Pelet

is the image of Pelet on a warangka made of Timoho wood. It consists of two or three large spots that are black or dark brown. According to some keris experts the magical power is to enlarge the mind of the owner.

Sekar

is another word for pamor. It comes from the high language of the Javanese, the Krama Inggil. So e.g. Ganja Sekar means Ganja with a pamor.

Sekar, Ganja

is for the general public a Ganja with pamor. But in the world of krisses it specifically denotes a Ganja with a pamor Mlumah e.g. Wos Wutah or Ngulit Semangka. In contrast, a Ganja with pamor Miring is called Ganja Mas Kumambang.
