Harjamulya, Kanjeng Kyai

is a Pusaka keris owned by the Kraton Yogyakarta. It comes from the Dapur Cengkrong. The warangka is made of Trembalo wood with gandar Iras. The pendok is a pendok blewahan of gold, the handle is made of ivory. This keris  Hamengku Buwono II. received from "Kanjeng Gubermen" when he was a prisoner on the island of Penang.

Hamengku Buwono

is the name of the sultans of Yogyakara, who also form the government:

1. Hamengku Buwono I - P. Mangkubumi (1755-1792)

2. Hamengku Buwono II - Sultan Sepuh (1792-1810)

3. Hamengku Buwono III (1810 - 1814)

4. Hamengku Buwono IV(1814 - 1822)

5. Hamengku Buwono V (1822 - 1855)

6. Hamengku Buwono VI (1855 - 1877)

7. Hamengku Buwono VII (1877 - 1921)

8. Hamengku Buwono VIII (1921 - 1939)

9. Hamengku Buwono IX (1939 - 1990)

          Hamengku Buwono X

Haryono Arumbinang

lived from 1940 to 2000 and was a nuclear physicist who examined the metallurgy of Keris and examined the composition of antique keris. He was also a very active as a keris expert and wrote 4 books.

Haryono Haryoguritno

is a collector and keris expert. He was born on 01/26/1932 in Temanggang (Central Java). Before  he wrote the book "Keris Jawa antara Mistik dan Nalar" these other books were published: Lordly Shades - Wayang Purwa Indonesia, Wayang Purwa Kepustakaan, Rupa Wayang Dalam Seni Rupa Indonesia and Kontemporer Ensiklopedi Wayang Indonesia Vol 1 - 6. You can see him at the beginning of the YouTube short film „The Javanese Kris“ .

Hujur

is a traditional Tombak of Batak in North Sumatra. The blade is made of metal and thin and flat. It is 25 cm long and 5.5 cm wide. The handle is made of wood and about 2 feet long. Earlier this Tombak was used in wars. In Java there is the Tombak Sapit Abon, which is very similar to the Hujur but Hujur is slimmer.

Hulu Burung

is a handle whose shape stylized a bird. These grips are available in Jambi, Bangkinang, Riau, Malaysia, Pathani and Surathani in Southern Thailand. The handle is made of hard wood, eg Kemuning or Trembalo wood. It is also found in ivory or walrus tusk and the mendak is made of silver. Originally this handle is from Bugis and Gowa in South Sulawesi. The sailors have  brought it into other areas.

Hulu Pekakak

is a handle which is available in Semenanjung Malaysia, Riau, Jambi, Sarawak, Brunei and Sabah. It is usually coated out of hard wood or ivory with silver. The handle looks like the head of a Raksasa (huge). It is therefore often referred to as Hulu Raksasa.
