Dada

is a form of Ricikan of a keris. It can only be found at krisses with Luk. It is located on the Gandik at the first Luk.

Dadung Muntir

also Dadung Kepuntir or Dadung Kelintir, it is a pamor that closely resembles the pamor Sada Saler or Adeg Siji. The difference is that in this pamor the lines do not look like normal lines, but something run across. You get more information here.

Danganan

Balinese word for keris handle or Ukiran. In Central Java and East Java, there is this term also, not for a keris, but e. g. for a knife or sickle etc.

Daradasih

is the Dapur of a Tombak with 5 Luk. The blade is thin and flat and symmetrical. The Tombak has Ada-Ada in the blade center. It is tall and thick and can be clearly seen. The blade is thick and has Gusen.

Daradasih Menggah

is the Dapur of a Tombak with 5 Luk. Between the first and second Luk has this Tombak Pudak Sategal and Kruwingan at the Sor-Soran.

Deder

or Jejer is a handle made of wood or ivory. There are hundreds of different types. In the area of Yogyakarta and Solo, it is also called Ukiran, in Bali Danganan. Good is wood, which is indeed hard but can be easily carved. The best wood for it on Java is Tayuman wood, in Malaysia, Brunei, Palembang and Riau Kemuning wood.

Deling, Pamor

Dora Menggala

is a Dapur of a Tombak with 5 Luk. The blade is 11 - 13 inches (28-34 cm) long. There are two versions. In the first, the blade is flat and symmetrical. This Tombak has a Pudak Sategal and Kruwingan. At the Sor-Soran the blade is thin but pretty thick from the middle to the top. The second version is simply without any Ricikan.

Doreng, Pelet

is the name of a subject or image of a warangka that can be made from different varieties of wood, including dark brown or black Timoho wood. It looks like the stripes of a tiger. This wood is preferred because it enhances the magical power of the blade according to some keris experts.

Drajid

is a Dapur of a keris with 21 Luk. The keris is thus one of the unusual keris called Kalawijan. The blade is a little longer than normal keris. This Dapur has a Kembang Kacang, two Lambe Gajah, Sraweyan, and Tikel Alis. Keris with this Dapur are rare. Drajit is another word for Indrajit, the son of the Prince of his loved Rahwana.

Dungkul

is a Dapur of a straight keris. The shape is very different from other straight krisses. The blade is usually quite thick. This Dapur has a simple twin Gandik and two short relatively symmetrical Sogokan. The ganja is symmetrical and Ganja Dungkul is called. The translation means little downward Horn.

Duwung

is another word for Keris. Duwung belongs to Japanese language Krama Inggil, a much finer expression of Keris. The word keris is part of the language Ngkoko. Duwung is also a Dapur a straight keris. The Gandik is simple and it is 3 1/2 to 6 times as long as normal up to 3/4 of the entire length of the blade.

Dwisula

is a Dapur of a Tombak with two branches and spikes. They may be straight or have multiple Luk. A Dwisula is not as popular as a Trisula. A Dwisula is usually designed valuable and often found kinatah gold. Although the shape of almost Dapur Wulan Tumanggal similar, there are differences (see Wulan Tumanggal).

Dwiwarna

in the world of krisses on Java there are often blades with two different designs (pamor). So e. g. Beras Wutah and Adeg. The second pamor is 0.2 to 1 inch (5 to 25 mm) generally removed from the first pamor. The borders must stand out clearly to talk of Dwiwarna (two colors).
